“A Mother’s Art” Shirley Robinson

As we approached Mother’s Day, ReelUrbanNews.com sat down with Shirley Robinson, mother, artist and retiree for an exclusive interview. “I worked for 41 years and then I retired; that’s when I decided it’s now or never. This is the perfect time for me to go to school and pay close attention to becoming an artist.”

At the close of our interview, Robinson shares with ReelUrbanNews.com advice for other retirees. “You first got to know what you really like to do. I never thought my involvement with art would develop as it has; and as I watch people and hear the things they come up with after looking at the paintings it’s a real incentive to keep on what you do with gusto!”
