Anthony Davis, the bright young National Basketball Association star for the New Orleans Pelicans who often pulls down 10 rebounds and scores more than 20 points per game, has joined with Saks Fifth Avenue for an 11-piece men’s wear collection. It includes a bomber jacket, neoprene shorts and graphic T-shirts.
How did you bring your personal style to the collection?
“I not only wanted to incorporate my personal style into the collection, but I also wanted to take it to another level, with high-style fashion. I partnered with Saks on the fabrics, silhouettes and patterns. I even included a varsity letter jacket, which was a throwback to my high school days.”
How would you say your collection stands out?
“I have spent so much time in the gym, on the court and at home, living and practicing in active wear. I wanted this collection to embody the styles I feel comfortable in, but to contain a modern, fashion edge.”
