Choosing publishing as a career was the best thing that ever happened to me, why you ask? I finally found a profession that fits my character. As people we travel, socialize, love, hate, experience and learn various ways to adapt to life and the meaning of it. But focusing on what pleases and challenges you determines when your life truly begins. As a youth I’ve always had an explosive imagination and honestly thought there was something magical about me as if I’d develop super human strength or could fly someday. And that expectation came to fruition on two separate occasions. I became superman when my son was born and I began to fly when I successfully published my first novel.
When I receive praise from my readers, family and peer’s my humility grounds the comments followed by the compliment for the simple fact that I did nothing different than any other successful inventor or entrepreneur. In life we all have purpose but those who seek the knowledge, wisdom and understanding of our individual need to chase our dreams separates the winner from the runner up. Learning who you are is the single most important task for an individual to endure and even though the battle creates wounds and deep scars, both, mental, emotional and spiritual, the reward is abundant. Time is the movement of thought and thinking is the key to all doors. So whether a school teacher, music producer, actor, technician, artist or homemaker; if what you’re doing isn’t helping someone else then you’re not doing it right as life comes full circle and truly begins once you become the master of your own individual craft.
