Rookie EJ Manuel connects with Stevie Johnson for a 2-yard Touchdown Pass with 2 seconds left, to give The Buffalo Bills (1-1) a must needed victory over The Carolina Panthers (0-2) The touchdown drive was a nine-play, 80-yard drive in which EJ Manuel completed 6 of 8 attempts for 51 yards. EJ Manuel finished the day with solid numbers for a rookie QB passing for 296 YDS, 1 TD, 1 INT. There was much debate from Buffalo Bills fan base, on selecting the QB in this years draft, but you know what they say, Winning cures ALL ailments.
On the other side of the football, you have The Carolina Panthers and their much talked about QB, Cam Newton, who passed for 229 YDS, 2 TD, 1 INT. Cam has lead his team to two straight loses to start the season. I feel this year is a make or break year for Cam Newton and so far it’s not looking good for Cam and his Panthers. We all remember the great rookie season Cam Newton had a couple of years ago, but the question inquiring minds want to know is, was Cam’s rookie season just a FLUKE?……….WE SHALL SEE!
