McGee states that it was his challenging childhood that propelled him to open Executive Prep. “I was raised in the street, lost my mother at an early age and taught myself how to read. I’ve seen everything under the sun; from my mom sleeping with other guys to at the age of nine years old a man blew his head off in front of me. Just living on the street and understanding what these kids are going through made me open Executive Prep.”
