I Will Follow was released through the newly formed theatrical distribution entity, the African American Film Festival Releasing Movement created by I Will Follow writer and director, Ava DuVernay. “We first started off in five cities on five screens. The following week we extended to fifth-teen cities and twenty two screens. Everybody who sees the film has responded very well.
