The only disappointment at the LA Galaxy home opener was the final score 2 to 1. LA Galaxy was defeated by FC Dallas, one of the most exciting teams in the league. FC Dallas is tied with Real Salt Lake for the most consecutive opening-day wins with five.
After the high energy game, LA Galaxy Head Coach Curt Onalfo provided perspective following the Galaxy’s 2-1 defeat to FC Dallas.
“I thought it was a game we shouldn’t lose. I thought we played well enough to get points out of the game. I thought our reaction….if you look at the first half, I think we’re sloppy at times. But we had some good, extended possession. We defended well for the most part, a little disjointed on a couple players but normal for this time of the season. They come out and score a quick goal. I think our reaction is excellent. And then we’re pushing the game and I’m really disappointed with the second goal we gave up. Having said that, a couple clear chances.

Jermaine [Jones]’s chance off the post, Ariel [Lassiter] has two chances and we’re dangerous. You think you have to get something out of the game, so I’m disappointed from that standpoint. But for me it’s a matter of getting better each day. We faced a very good FC Dallas team. They were the best team in the regular season last year. They were the best team in MLS and they’re better this year. We faced a very, very good team that punishes you when you make mistakes.”

In addition to capturing the on field action at LA Galaxy home opener, Reel Urban News cameras provides a visual perspective captured in an around the STUBHUB CENTER.

“Corporate Branding” continues to find placement at the STUBHUB CENTER. Branding in recent years has become just as significant as the teams and players that shine on the field.

In addition to the bank of photographers on the field, a core of international reporters and sports journalist observed LA Galaxy vs. FC Dallas match perched high above the field of play in the Press Box located on the 3 third level on the west side of the stadium.

Following the presentation of the National Anthem, LA Galaxy pregame activity was equally as exciting and engaging.

The LA Galaxy advised fans to arrive to StubHub Center early this Saturday, March 4 for the LA Galaxy’s season-opening match against FC Dallas. STUBHUB CENTER was packed as 23 thousand plus Galaxy fans cheered and rooted for the home team.
